We are renting one furnished room (has a single bed, dresser and desk) in a 5-bedroom, 3 bathroom house in beautiful Burnaby Heights. There are two living rooms and a sunroom as well. We are a family with a very sweet and friendly big dog and would consider another dog in the house if its a good fit. Beautiful neighborhood, close to amenities on Hastings st.

The rent is $600 per month plus utilities (high-speed wifi, heat and hot water, washer and dryer on premises). The bedrooms are bright and airy with big windows and skylights. Each room has its own door that locks and a bright window. There are 2 full bathrooms to be shared by the roommates. We are mostly women and would prefer to keep the female energy in the house.
6 minute walk to Hastings and Boundary bus stop (Kootney Loop).
8 stops by bus (9 mins) to Gilmore Station on the Millennium Line.
We are close to SFU (15-20 min. drive, 19 mins by bus (one bus straight there).
BCIT is an 11 minute drive or ½ hour by bus.
Just over the bridge from Capilano University (12 minute bus ride)
15-20 mins drive to downtown. One bus to downtown (14 UBC, straight down East Hastings, or bus 95 B-line express to downtown or Skytrain).
There are tons of parks and waterfront near-bye within 7-18 minute walk, gym, restaurants.
Everyone is very respectful and we all get along well. We would love to have some people with good energy to add to the mix.
Because 5 people will be sharing this space we ask everyone to keep the common areas tidy, especially the kitchen. For example, dishes need to be done at the time they are dirtied.
We have a good sized back yard, plenty of street parking.
